A hall fills up, the stage lights come on, and within forty minutes the guests at the back are fanning themselves with the invitation cards. Heat empties a venue faster than bad catering does. Shridhar Tent House provides event AC on hire from a fleet of approximately 1,500 TR, built for temporary installations — venues with no permanent cooling, or permanent systems never designed for 800 guests, hot lighting and a full kitchen running behind a curtain. We are based in Bangalore and mobilise across India.
We own our machines. Nothing on this list is brokered from a third party, which is why we can commit stock in peak season and service it ourselves between events.
| Unit type | Capacity | Best suited for | Indicative coverage* |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ductable AC | 5.5 TR | Meeting rooms, small halls, green rooms | 330–440 sq ft |
| Ductable AC | 8.5 TR | Banquet halls, mid-size pandals, conference floors | 510–680 sq ft |
| Ductable AC | 11 TR | Large halls, exhibition bays, hangar structures | 660–880 sq ft |
| Tower AC | 4 TR | Spot cooling, VIP lounges, stage wings, semi-open areas | 240–320 sq ft |
*Coverage is indicative and subject to site conditions — ceiling height, glazing, footfall density, kitchen load and lighting all change the calculation. Final tonnage is confirmed after a site survey.
Ductable units sit outside the guest area and push cooled air in through insulated ducting, so you get even temperature across a large floor with no machine noise inside the hall. Tower units are self-contained and roll into position in minutes — the right answer for late additions, breakout zones and areas that cannot take ducting.
Bangalore is our home ground, and the fleet is stocked here. For event AC on hire Bangalore organisers get same-city machines, same-city technicians and a survey scheduled within [insert response time] of enquiry.
We work regularly at Palace Grounds, BIEC, KTPO Whitefield, and venues across Electronic City, Yelahanka, Hebbal, Peenya, Sarjapur Road and Devanahalli. That matters more than it sounds. City traffic windows dictate when a 11 TR ductable unit can actually reach a venue, so we plan deliveries around restricted-hours rules and install overnight where the venue permits it. We also coordinate directly with venue electricals on load sanction before the machines arrive — the single most common reason a temporary cooling plan fails on event day.
Outside Karnataka, we mobilise units, ducting and crew to wherever the event is — Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Kochi and Goa among them. Transport is arranged by us, a technician stays on site through the event rather than handing over and leaving, and demobilisation is scheduled to match your venue's vacating deadline. Outstation projects carry transport and crew accommodation in the commercials.
Where grid supply is insufficient or unreliable, we coordinate DG sizing and cabling with your power vendor during the survey, not on the morning of the event.
Tell us four things — event date, venue, covered area and expected headcount — and we will come back with a capacity plan and a quote.
Surveys across Bangalore are free of charge. Outstation surveys can be done on drawings and photographs.
As a working rule for events, allow 1 TR for every 60–80 sq ft. Event loads run far heavier than office cooling because of guest density, stage lighting and doors opening constantly. A 4,000 sq ft hall for around 400 guests typically works out to 50–65 TR. We confirm the exact figure after a site survey rather than quoting from floor area alone.
Ductable units are the better choice for large enclosed halls — the machine sits outside, air is delivered evenly through ducting, and the guest area stays quiet. Tower units suit spot cooling, green rooms, stage wings and semi-open areas, or anywhere ducting cannot be routed. Most events end up using a mix of both.
Our standard hire is a [insert minimum period] booking, which covers installation, the event itself and dismantling. Multi-day exhibitions and wedding sequences are quoted on a daily running basis. Installation and removal days are handled separately from running days in the quote, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
The hire covers the machines, insulated ducting and hoses, delivery to site, installation, a trial run before the event, an on-site technician through the running hours, and dismantling afterwards. Power cabling from your distribution point is included; the power source itself — grid or DG — is arranged separately unless you ask us to organise it.
Ductable units need three-phase supply, and total draw depends on the unit mix — we give you the exact load figure with the quote. Many venues cannot sanction that load, so a DG set is common. We can coordinate sizing and cabling with your power vendor, or arrange the DG ourselves as a line item.
For the November-to-February wedding season and major exhibition dates, [insert lead time] ahead is realistic — the large ductable units book out first. Off-season requirements can often be met at shorter notice. If your date is already fixed, block the units early even if the final tonnage is still being worked out.
We serve the whole city and the surrounding belt, from Peenya and Yelahanka through to Whitefield, Electronic City, Sarjapur Road and Devanahalli. Stock and crew are based locally, so event AC on hire Bangalore requirements are handled without outstation transport costs. Deliveries are planned around city traffic restrictions and venue access timings.
Yes — we mobilise units and crew across India, including Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Kochi and Goa. Commercially, outstation projects differ in two ways: transport is charged by distance and unit count, and crew accommodation is added. Lead times are longer, so confirm outstation bookings earlier than local ones.
We do this regularly, though the sizing rules differ from concrete halls. Fabric structures gain heat through the roof and lose cooled air at the sides, so tonnage runs higher per square foot and side curtaining becomes part of the plan. Our survey accounts for structure type, so a pandal is never quoted on hall assumptions.
Pricing is driven by total tonnage, the unit mix, number of running days, distance from our Bangalore yard, power arrangements, and site complexity such as crane access or difficult duct routing. We do not quote per-unit rates in isolation, because the same tonnage can cost very differently across two venues. Every quote follows a survey.
