Warehouse Tent on Rent

Warehouse Tent on Rent in Bangalore and Across India

Shridhar Tent House supplies clear span warehouse tents on rent to manufacturers, logistics operators, project sites and event contractors. Every structure is delivered, installed and commissioned by our own crews from our Bangalore base, and mobilised to sites anywhere in India. Spans run from 9 metres to 60 metres, with covered lengths extending to 240 metres. Rental terms begin at a few weeks and extend to multi-year leases with an option to purchase.

German Tent Warehouse Systems on Hire

The term German tent warehouse refers to the modular hangar engineering standard that originated with European temporary structure manufacturers and is now the benchmark for industrial fabric buildings in India. The frame is built from hot-dip galvanised steel or extruded aluminium profiles, assembled entirely with bolted connections. Roof and walls are tensioned PVC-coated polyester membrane, flame retardant and UV stabilised.

Because the system is bolted rather than welded, a warehouse tent on hire needs no permanent foundation. It is anchored to a prepared surface, erected in days, dismantled without damage and redeployed at another site. The clear span design carries no internal columns, so the entire floor area stays usable for racking, forklift movement and material handling.

Every structure we hire out is inspected, cleaned and load-checked between deployments. Membrane panels, profiles and fixings are replaced on condition rather than on a fixed cycle, so what arrives at your site is a working industrial building and not a weathered cover.

Sizes and Configurations Available

Clear span Eave height
9 m, 12 m, 15 m 4 m
20 m, 25 m, 30 m 5 m
40 m, 50 m, 60 m 6 m

Bay spacing is 5 metres throughout. Length extends in 5 metre increments to a maximum of 240 metres, or 48 bays, and that limit applies to every span from 9 metres to 60 metres. Span is selected against your required floor width and vehicle turning circle; length is then set to reach the covered area you need. Full structural specifications are available on our temporary warehouse structure page.

Where Warehouse Tents Are Used

Rental Options: Bangalore and Pan India

In Bangalore we hold inventory and crew locally, so site survey, delivery and installation across Peenya, Bommasandra, Jigani, Hoskote, Nelamangala, Whitefield, Electronic City and the Devanahalli airport belt can usually be scheduled within the same week.

For pan India projects, material and installation teams travel from our depot to your site. Installation is executed by Shridhar Tent House crews rather than handed to local subcontractors, so build quality and anchoring standards stay consistent wherever the structure goes up.

Rental terms are built around the requirement: short term hire for events and audits, seasonal hire through the monsoon, six to twelve month project hire, and multi-year leases with an option to purchase at the end of the term.

Why Take a Warehouse Tent on Rent Instead of Building

A rented structure converts a capital project into an operating cost with a predictable monthly figure. There is no civil construction, no extended site disruption and no permanent asset left on the books when the requirement ends. Because the building is demountable, it can be relocated when your operation moves or expands.

The rental scope covers site survey, transport, installation, handover and de-installation at the end of the term. The result is usable covered floor area in weeks rather than the many months a conventional shed would take.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the largest warehouse tent available on rent?

The largest single structure is a 60 metre clear span running up to 240 metres in length, giving roughly 14,400 square metres under one roof. Spans of 9, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 and 60 metres are available, and multiple units can be placed side by side for wider coverage.

2. Can a warehouse tent on rent withstand monsoon rain and heavy wind?

Yes. The roof membrane is tensioned rather than draped, so water runs to sealed eave gutters instead of pooling. Ridge, eave and base junctions are sealed, and the anchoring system is specified against the wind loading at your site. Ballast or ground anchors are selected during the site survey.

3. What flooring is required under the structure?

The tent can be erected over existing concrete, paver block, asphalt or compacted gravel. A level, load-bearing surface is what matters, not the material. If no suitable surface exists, we can advise on levelling and compaction, or supply a temporary floor system as part of the rental scope.

4. What side wall and door options are available?

Walls can be PVC fabric, hard ABS panel or insulated sandwich panel, mixed across elevations as needed. Access options include manual or motorised roller shutters, sectional doors, personnel doors and glazed panels. Open-sided configurations are also possible where only overhead cover is required.

5. How long does installation take on site?

Installation time scales with span and length. A modest 15 metre span structure is typically erected within a few days of material reaching site, while large spans running to full length take proportionately longer. We confirm a firm schedule after the site survey, including mobilisation and handover dates.

6. What is the minimum and maximum rental period?

Short term hire can run for a few weeks, which suits exhibitions, audits and seasonal overflow. Project hire commonly runs six to twelve months. Longer engagements are structured as multi-year leases, often with an option to purchase the structure at the end of the term.

7. Do I need building permission for a German tent warehouse?

Because the structure is demountable and needs no permanent foundation, it is usually treated differently from permanent construction. Requirements still vary by municipal body, industrial estate and land use classification, so confirm the position with your local authority or estate office before installation. We can supply drawings and specifications to support that process.

8. What site preparation does the customer need to provide?

Access for material trucks, a level and clear footprint, and confirmation of what lies beneath the anchoring line such as cables, drains or ducts. Power for tools during installation is helpful. Everything else, including transport, erection equipment and crew, is part of the rental scope.

9. Can lighting, ventilation and racking be installed inside?

Yes. The frame is designed to carry service loads, so lighting, fans, ridge ventilators, turbo ventilators, air conditioning and translucent roof panels can all be integrated. Selective and pallet racking can be installed on the floor slab. Confirm racking loads at survey stage so anchoring and layout are planned together.

10. How is rental pricing calculated?

Pricing is driven by covered area, span, rental duration, wall and door specification, site distance from Bangalore and any add-ons such as flooring or lighting. Longer tenures carry a lower monthly rate. Share your area requirement, location and rental period for a firm, itemised quotation.
